Registration elements are part of Forms Plus, an event-registration add-on available for Forms Manager. Contact your Client Success representative for more details and pricing information about Forms Plus.
Registration fields are found in the Element Library. Set the Element Library dropdown menu to "Registration Elements" to see the list of available fields.
Just as with any other form element, drag and drop a registration element onto your form and then hover over it and click the pencil icon to update its settings. You can use up to 10 registration elements on a single form.
Note: When adding a registration element, the field label must be added to avoid errors on the form.
Number Spinner and Number Box
The Number Spinner and the Number Box are both used to add one or more participants to an event.
When editing the Number Spinner or Number Box element, the following settings are available.
-
Cost Per Seat: This is the amount a user will be asked to pay for each seat they purchase; it can be controlled here or in the "Registration" tab.
-
Reservation Limit: This indicates the number of seats an event participant may purchase in a single transaction with this form. (The overall limit on the number of seats sold for an event is set in the form's Registration tab.)
-
Display the cost per seat: When this checkbox is selected, form users will see a label showing the cost per event ticket.
-
Display the charge incurred for this seating: Selecting this checkbox will display a running total cost of all of the tickets the user has selected to purchase.
RSVP
The RSVP element can be used to send the form to a specific list of invited guests, rather than opening the form up to the general public. RSVP elements are a list of radio buttons, giving users exactly one option for responding to the invitation. By default, users can reply "Yes," Maybe" or "No." The settings in the RSVP element allow you to customize those options, as well as whether each selection results in the user actually registering for the event.
-
Options: The values in the "Options" column are the labels that users see on the radio buttons when viewing the form.
-
Number of Seats: This column can be either a "1" or a "0." A "1" value means that, when this button is selected, a user will be added to the event as an attendee; a "0" value means that the user will not be added to the event (although their form submission will be tracked).
-
Add: Use the green button to add additional radio buttons to the available choices
-
Display in results:
-
Option: With this option selected, the form Results tab will display the "Yes/No/Maybe" labels for each selection. This will make is easier to understand each user's selection when reviewing the form results.
-
Number of Seats: When checked, the form Results tab will show the number of event seats purchased via each individual RSVP form response.
-
See Manage RSVPs for more details about how to use the RSVP element.
Tiered Pricing
The Tiered Pricing element allows you to give users a price discount for purchasing more than one event ticket in a single transaction. Form Admins can specify the available ticket purchase options, as well as the overall cost for purchasing multiple tickets. Note: All tickets purchased via a Tiered Pricing element must belong to the same seating type.
Responses
-
Options: The values in the "Options" column correspond to the text that form users will see when they select a menu item.
-
Number of Seats: If used, the "Number of Seats" column sets how many spaces in the event will be reserved when a user selects a particular option from the dropdown menu.
-
Assign Currency: This column sets the dollar value amount of each option in the dropdown menu.
Use the green "Add" button if you need to create additional selections in the dropdown menu. The checkboxes in the "Display in results" section control which pieces of data from this element will appear in the form Results tab when reviewing the submissions from this form.
