Research shows the majority of email recipients will not scroll, and many people glance an email over and decide whether to delete it or read it within 1-3 seconds. If your articles/stories are more than a couple of paragraphs long, it is better to lay your newsletter out in smaller snippets and tease them into clicking on an area of interest.
"Teaser content" in a newsletter, such as headlines and a brief beginning of the article, can be followed by a link to the rest of the information in a web page. This gives eNotify editors the ability to present as much content as they want without cluttering the newsletter itself. It also gives the recipient a much quicker grasp of the newsletter's content without excessive scrolling.
