Changing the icon for the mobile site (Page Manager)

This article refers to our legacy product, Page Manager. For the best Finalsite experience, we recommend using our newest product, Composer. To find out how to upgrade your site, talk to your Client Success Manager or learn more on our website.

The mobile site logo is an image file that's uploaded to your site and set in the Mobile Pages controls. You can change the image file whenever you'd like.

Size the logo image file appropriately

Before changing the logo on the mobile pages, make sure that the image is formatted for mobile users. Save a small version of your logo; anywhere from about 250 to 500 pixels wide should work well. That's large enough to display correctly on mobile devices, and small enough to download quickly over a cellular data connection. Save the image and upload it to File Manager. Be sure to remember where in File Manager you save the image!

Updating the mobile page logo

  1. Go the Site Manager menu, and click on Site Administration > Site Modules

  2. Click "Mobile Pages"

  3. The logo is set in the "Header Text" box, which you can edit. Click on the editor to adjust the header for all mobile pages.

  4. Click on the current logo to highlight it (it will be shaded light blue when highlighted), then click the "Insert/Edit Image" icon.

  5. Click on the "Browse" button, found to the right of the "Image URL" field. This will pop open a new File Manager window.

  6. In File Manager, navigate to the folder where you saved your new logo image, and click on the name.

  7. Save all of your changes. The new logo image will appear at the top of all your mobile pages.
