Submitting a Page to Google Search Console for re-indexing

Google Search Console provides detailed information on how your site appears in Google searches. It also includes tools for refining the way your site appears on Google searches. For instance, you may need to use the "Fetch as Google" tool in Google Search Console (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6066468?hl=en) to draw Google's attention to pages that have either changed or moved, increasingly the likelihood that they'll de-index those pages from search.

  1. You can access Google Search Console (previously called Webmaster Tools) here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools

  2. Login using the account associated with your Google Analytics.

  3. Once here, you should see your website already added as a Property. If not, please click on 'Add Property' and follow instructions detailed in the article: Configuring Site Search.
