What to do when "Sorry, your page requests are being temporarily throttled" occurs

The "Sorry, your page requests are being temporarily throttled" message may display when a large amount of users access the site in a short period of time from the same computer network.

If you experience this when accessing your site from the school network, please:

  • Contact your internal network team and request your school's Public IP address/ranges.

  • Submit a ticket to Finalsite Support with the following information:

    • Public IP addresses/ranges

    • Date/time when throttling message appeared

    • A screenshot of the error
