Important Note on Granting Chat permissions
Granting Admin level access to any constituent or group means that each person regardless of role will have the highest level of abilities to manage the chat feature in the module. Admin level can see view conversations at every campus or location, as well as complete the highest level of moderation monitoring.
Rights to the entire Mobile Apps module can be granted through the Permissions tab to any admin user group that has access to Composer. To access Mobile App permissions, open up Mobile Apps from the module menu and click to open the Permissions tab in left navigation.
Mobile Apps permissions
To adjust an admin group's permission level, expand out the dropdown menus and choose the level of rights to grant to members of a given admin group. There are two levels: Admin and Not Allowed.
- Admin: This level gives access to all settings in the Mobile App module, including granting permissions to other groups.
- Not Allowed: Admin users in this group will not see Mobile Apps in the module menu nor will they have access to any part of the Mobile Apps settings.
Chat permissions
For each admin user group, locate the Chat column and select either Not Allowed or Admin.
- Not Allowed: This admin user group will not see the Chat feature in the Mobile Apps module.
- Admin: The Admin level for the group allows them to have all of the admin management abilities available within the Chat feature.
