Admin permissions for modules

Assigning permissions for most modules to admin users starts in the section of the site called Admin Users. Each admin group has a specific set of permissions designated by checkboxes. For newer modules, however, permissions are set directly in the module itself.

Many modules are listed specifically, some even including an “admin” level and a standard level of access. If you choose the standard checkboxes for these modules, you’ll need to assign granular permissions through each module. 

Newer modules, accessed through Composer, require the “Composer” checkbox to be selected and permissions to be granted within the module itself. 

Many modules allow you to assign permissions by individual instead of an entire group, as long as the group has permission for the module.
