Before you begin

Is the page you're about to schedule to publish a Parent page or a Child page?

When scheduling a Parent page to publish, keep in mind that all Child pages beneath the scheduled page will not be editable in the meantime. Should you need to edit them, simply Update schedule, make your edits, and then Schedule your page again once edits are made.

Step 1: Click the Publish button

In the bottom right corner of your Composer page, locate the Publish button and click whenever you are ready to publish your page. Don't worry, you'll have a chance to keep deciding in the Publish Page window.

Important Note

Are you not seeing a Publish button in your bottom right corner? You might not have high enough access to publish a page. Do you see Request to Publish? You can specify in your request to the approver the specific date and time you'd like your article to be published.

Step 2: Click Publish Later

When the Publish button is clicked, the option to “Publish Later” can be selected.

Step 3: Choose your date and time

  • Choose the date and time when you'd like to publish
  • Enter an optional comment.
  • Click Schedule when you are ready.

Do you wish to to adjust the set schedule or unschedule a page previously scheduled?

  • As long as the page hasn't been scheduled yet, you can still click the Update Schedule button appearing in the bottom right corner of the Composer page.
  • Use the "-" icon in the date and time field to clear the publish schedule.
  • The page will then revert back to Draft status.
