The Basics

Weglot's translation software allows visitors to read almost all of the content within your site in their preferred language.

When enabled, a language menu will appear in your site.
Visitors can choose their preferred language from that menu.
Almost all of your site's content will be translated! The only things that won't be translated are embedded content and text inside images.

What parts of my website does Weglot translate?

Weglot translates your entire website (except for embedded content and text in images). This means that all menus, buttons, page text, page pops, forms, etc. will be translated.

I want to change how a word is translated. Can I do that?

Is there anything that Weglot won't translate on my site?

Embedded content (like iframe embeds and PDFs) and text within images won’t be translated by the Weglot tool.
