📅 Feeds 2.0 launches September 21, 2026

Feeds 2.0, the updated social feed design, is available to all clients starting September 21, 2026. The original Feeds design and Feeds element remain fully supported. See Feeds 2.0: Opt in and embed the new design for instructions on enabling the new display.

The Feeds element displays social media posts from connected channels on a Composer page in list, grid, slideshow, or custom format. The Feeds module must be configured and content moderated in the Feeds Moderation Console before placing the element.

Where is the Feeds element? In the Social tab of the Element Library.

Try Feeds 2.0, the updated social feed design

Feeds 2.0 is now available and introduces updated design templates across Grid, Slider, and List display types, five post layout options, and a redesigned settings interface. Existing sources carry over automatically.

To use Feeds 2.0, click Switch to new feed in the top-right corner of the Feeds module, then place an Embed element on a Composer page and paste in the iFrame embed code. The Feeds element (covered in this article) displays the original Feeds design only.

Feeds is a module in the Finalsite platform for connecting and showcasing social media content on a website in real time, automatically integrating content posted from connected social channels. The Feeds element displays posts on a site page, according to the settings applied in the Feeds Moderation Console.

Understand elements

Before placing a Feeds element in Composer, be sure to follow the steps in the article Feeds overview to configure the Feeds module.

Once a Feeds element is placed on a page, click the settings gear to see the available configurations.

In addition to the common element settings, the Feeds element has the following configuration options.

Configure List settings

Sources: Choose one or more options from a dropdown list of available feed sources.
Display [X] posts at a time: Choose from 1 to 100 posts to display.

Configure Grid settings

Sources: Choose one or more options from a dropdown list of available feed sources.
Display [X] posts at a time: Choose from 1 to 100 posts to display.
Show up to [X] posts wide: Decide how many posts across to display, from one to six.

Configure Slideshow settings

Sources: Choose one or more options from a dropdown list of available feed sources.
Display [X] posts at a time: Choose from 1 to 100 posts to display.
Show up to [X] posts wide: Decide how many posts across to display, from one to six.
