It's important to know how to manage your subscriptions for communication you are receiving from your district or school, as well as to decide which notifications you will receive. This article will show you how you can manage subscriptions and customize the kind of communication you receive with the use of notifications.

Manage your subscriptions

Here's how you can manage your own communication preferences and subscriptions to adjust the level of communication you want to receive from your student's district or school:

	Subscribe	Unsubscribe
Email Communications	Log in to your Account Preferences > Profile > Contact Information to add or update your Email Address. In Account Preferences > Notifications tab, opt-in to receive emails.	Log in, go to Account Preferences > Notifications tab, and uncheck the box below a certain communication list. Adjust overall Email subscriptions in Preferences tab. Click the "Unsubscribe" link in an email message you received.
SMS/Text Communications	Log in to your Account Preferences > Profile > Contact Information to add or update your Mobile Phone Number. In Account Preferences > Notifications tab, opt-in to receive texts. Unsubscribe by mistake? Reply with the word "START."	Log in, go to Account Preferences > Notifications tab, and uncheck the box below a certain communication list. Adjust overall SMS/Text subscriptions in Preferences tab. Reply to a text with the word "STOP."
Voice Communications	Add or update Home Phone Number and Mobile Phone Number in your profile by logging in to your Account Preferences > Profile > Contact Information.	Contact your district or school to remove your phone number from their system. Adjust overall Voice subscriptions in Preferences tab.
