Your website includes a built-in accessibility tool, powered by AudioEye, available to every visitor: parents, students, grandparents, community members, with no login or download required. Here's why it matters and how people can use it.
Step 1: Explain why this matters
Families and community members visit your website for all kinds of reasons: checking calendars, registering a child, reading board updates, finding contact information. Not everyone reads, sees, or navigates a screen the same way. The AudioEye widget lets each visitor adjust the site to fit their needs. Larger text for a grandparent, reduced motion for someone sensitive to animation, a reading guide for a visitor with dyslexia, high contrast for low vision. It puts control in the hands of the person using the site, in the moment they need it.
It also gives your community a direct way to flag something that isn't working, turning "this page is confusing" into an actionable report your team can fix.
Step 2: Show them where to find the tool
Look for a round accessibility icon in a corner of the screen (position and color may vary by site). It stays visible as you scroll. Click or tap it to open the AudioEye Accessibility Help Desk panel.
Step 3: Walk through what they can do with it
Under Personalization Tools, visitors can click any icon to turn a feature on (click again to adjust or turn off):

⚠️ Important Note
Everything resets instantly with the Reset button in the panel, or the Shift + R shortcut, so there's no risk in exploring.
Step 4: Let them report an issue
If a visitor hits a page or feature that isn't accessible, the Report Issue tab lets them tell you directly: name, email, assistive technology used, and a description of the problem. The keyboard shortcut H jumps straight to this form.
