Subscribe to a calendar

This article will show you how to subscribe to the calendars on your student's district or school website.  

Step 1: Navigate to a calendar and click the subscribe icon

On your district or school site, is there a calendar that you'd like to subscribe to?

  • Navigate to a page that is displaying a calendar.
  • Select this icon in the top-right corner above the calendar. This will open a window where you can decide how to subscribe.

Step 2: Choose how you want to subscribe

The Calendar Feeds window will open up and look like this:

Different Version Alert! 

Does the window that pops up when you click the feeds icon (Step 1) look different from the one in this article? Like this?

If so, you are on a different version of our calendars software called New Calendars module. You can check out the article, "Subscribe to a calendar" that is specific to your version. 

Choice #1: Calendar URL type

The Calendar Feeds window allows you to subscribe to this calendar with some different options. Hover on one of the green ICAL buttons to see these options.

  • Get Standard iCal URL
  • Get Google iCal URL
  • Add to Default Calendar App (Outlook 2k7, Apple iCal, etc)

When selecting any of the options, a field will appear in the top of the window where you can select and copy the URL to then take back with you to finish subscribing to the calendar(s) you've selected.

Choice #2: Subscribe to all calendars or only one

Do you want to add all of the calendars that display in this area of the page or only specific, individual calendars?

Step 3: Confirm the calendar is displaying

Navigate to the calendar on your device and cross check with the events on the calendar page of your district or school website.
