Flagged request block: How to report and regain access

What causes this error

Finalsite's request filtering system monitors traffic to protect websites from malicious or suspicious activity. When a request matches a flagged pattern, the system blocks it and displays this error page. Legitimate visitors can occasionally trigger a false positive.

This is not a problem with the site's content or Composer configuration.

The text of the error message reads: 

"This request has been flagged and blocked by our system. 

"If we've made a mistake, (sorry!) you can regain access by submitting the form below. Once you click 'SUBMIT & GO BACK' we will be notified and will work to resolve the mistake as quickly as possible. 

"For your reference, the error ID is XXXXXXXXXXXXX

"If you need any additional assistance, you may contact this websites' administrator. 

"Please try again later.

"Comment (optional):

Regain access or report the issue

Submit the form on the error page

This is the first step. Clicking Submit and Go back on the error page reports the incident to Finalsite and initiates a review. In most cases, this resolves the block without any further action needed.

Contact Finalsite Support

If submitting the form does not resolve the issue, submit a ticket to Finalsite Support and include the following:

  • Error ID. Shown below the main error text, in the line that reads "For your reference, the error ID is..." Copy this value exactly.
  • URL. The full address of the page being accessed when the error appeared.
  • Description of what was being done. For example, submitting a form, navigating to a page, or uploading a file.
