This article outlines how Kentucky schools can prominently display information about their students’ most recent performance on the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) and include a web link to the detailed results of the district’s/schools’ performance, which is required by House Bill 6.

Step 2: Update the Locations module
To add a customized banner to each domain on your site, this will involve using the Locations module to automatically display the banner on the top of each domain.
Here’s how it works:
- Navigate to the Locations module. Select the domain in the left navigation where you would like this banner to display.
- Scroll down to the bottom to the Custom Fields section. Click + New Custom Field. A new window will open.
- Name this field KSA Banner
Important Note
The Custom Field name, KSA Banner, must be the same for all Locations.
- Toggle to HTML view </> and paste in the entire contents of the plugin. Update the percentages and link URL if you haven't already (as highlighted in the screenshot below). Click Save to close the window, then Update to save the new Location configurations.
Important Notes
- Ensure that the percentages and links are updated in each plugin file you wish to use.
- If your site features a sticky or fixed header, the banner may not display properly. Please submit a Support request to allow our team to investigate.
Step 3: Update the top banner
- Open up Banners and click to open the header banner that is selected to display in your Page layout and appearance menu.
- At the very top* of your banner click Add Element to add a Location element from the Module tab. (*Please be sure the element is located at the top above all other containers and elements)
- Configure the following settings in your newly-added Location element:

- Format: Select Single format.
- Title: Toggle off the Title field.
- Content Details: Check the Location Name option, and select KSA Banner in the Custom Fields.
- Design: Add
ksa-banner
to the Custom Class field. -
Design: Within the Header Content field add the following text:
2022-2023 Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) Results for- This text can be adjusted to your preference and will display before the school name (if you have the above Location Name option enabled).

- Click Save to save your configurations. Lastly, Publish your Banner. Check on your homepage to see if the information is displaying properly. Return to the Location module to adjust the Description of the Custom Field as needed.
