Are you an admin user who has access to create or edit a post but not publish it? This article will help you understand how it works.
Request a post to be published
Admin users who are not granted permission to publish posts will see this when drafting a post in the Posts module.
- Once the admin user clicks Save, the Request Publish button will appear in the bottom right corner.
- Once they click Request Publish, a window will appear confirming that they are requesting that this post be published on the live website.
- When this button is clicked, admin users with higher levels are notified of this request by an email notification. The page status will now display a pink "Publish Request" flag on the post that is Pending Publish.
