As a district or school administrator, ensuring that your webmasters are continually learning and developing their skills is crucial to maintaining an effective and efficient online presence. Many main site admins frequently ask how they can track their webmasters' learning progress in the Learning Management System (LMS) called Finalsite Training Portal. This article provides two straightforward methods to monitor training activity and ensure completion.
In this Article
- Option # 1: Ask webmasters to send their LMS transcript
- Option #2: Log in as the webmaster via Constituent Manager
Option # 1: Ask webmasters to send their LMS transcript
The easiest and most consistent way to track course completions is to ask webmasters to send you a PDF copy of their learning transcript. This method ensures transparency and allows you to review their progress at your convenience.
Steps to download the LMS transcript
- Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the LMS dashboard.
- Select Transcript from the dropdown menu.
- On the transcript page, click Print.
- Save the document as a PDF.
- Have webmasters send the file to you for review.
💡 Pro tip:
Encourage webmasters to download and save their transcripts after major milestones, such as course or learning path completion, to maintain an ongoing record of their progress.
Option #2: Log in as the webmaster via Constituent Manager
If you require direct access to a webmaster’s learning activity, you have the ability to log in as the user through Constituent Manager. This approach provides real-time visibility into their LMS activity.
Important Note
The only admin user group with the ability to impersonate another admin user is the main, highest level Site Administrators group, often labeled in the Admin Users module as "Administrators," though it may have been renamed.
Steps to access webmaster activity
- Go to Constituent Manager Account tab.
- Follow the steps here to log in as another admin user.
- You will see a reminder that you will be logged out of your account.
- Click the Training button on the dashboard to view this particular user's activity.
This method allows you to see their enrolled courses, progress, and completions without requiring them to send their transcript manually.
