Note: Flash videos cannot be viewed by visitors using an iPad or iPhone. Media Manager will automatically convert .FLV Flash video files to a compatible filetype. Flash presentations in .SWF format cannot be uploaded to Media Manager.
New Finalsite websites are built on HTML5, a framework that has largely supplanted Flash as the preferred video format for web content. Flash has inherent security vulnerabilities that make it unsuitable for use on websites with sensitive data, and it's no longer supported on many browsers.
Multimedia Manager will accept .FLV flash files for upload, but it will convert them to the MP4 format automatically and display that version on site pages. Flash presentations in .SWF format are not compatible with Multimedia Manager and cannot be uploaded.
