Personal Reports element

The Personal Reports element lets logged-in parents view reports for their children, with the most recent report first and the student's name in parentheses after the report title. Reports only render for parents on the live site, not in the Composer admin view, and there are no settings beyond the common element settings.

💡Quick answers

  • Adding the Personal Reports element to a page? Add it from the Module tab to the page. Logged-in parents see all reports for their children automatically.
  • Why don't reports appear when previewing in Composer? Personal reports only display for logged-in parents, not in the Composer admin interface. View the page as a parent on the live site to verify.
  • Personal Reports element missing from the library? Reach out to your Client Success Manager or email clientsuccess@finalsite.com. This element may not be enabled for the site.
  • What settings does the Personal Reports element have? None beyond the common element settings (Title, Share, Design controls). Report order and display formatting are fixed.

What are Elements?

Elements are the fundamental building blocks of your Composer pages. Learn more about how elements work in the article, "Understanding elements" and read about each of the 5 tabs in the element library: Standard, Module, Layout, Social, and Shared.

The Personal Reports element allows logged-in parents to view any reports for their children. Reports are displayed with the most recent report first, with the student’s name in parentheses after the report title.
