Search element

What are Elements?

Elements are the fundamental building blocks of your Composer pages. Learn more about how elements work in the article, "Understanding elements" and read about each of the 5 tabs in the element library: Standard, Module, Layout, Social, and Shared.

The Search element performs a search of the entire site. Results appear either in a popup on the current page, or on the Landing Page set in the Domain Settings. Navigate to the Search element in the Standard tab of the Element library.

To change the page that search results open on, go to the Action Menu on the Domain, select “Domain Settings,” and go to the “Landing Pages” tab. Choose the page next to “Search Page.”
