Configure Domain settings

Domain Settings controls configurations that affect every page within a domain, including the label, default language, favicon, landing pages (404, login, search, form, post, calendar, athletics, unsubscribe), and SEO settings. Open it by hovering over the domain in Composer left nav, clicking the three-dot menu, and selecting Settings.

💡Quick answers

  • Where is Domain Settings opened? Hover over the Domain in Composer's left navigation, click the three-dot menu, and select Settings.
  • Why might Domain Settings be missing from the menu? The user lacks Global Composer Admin permissions. Contact the main site administrator for access.
  • What does the Domain Default Pages section control? The default page for the 404 error, login, search, forms, news posts, calendar events, athletics events, and unsubscribe.
  • Setting where search results display? On the Landing Pages tab, set Search Page to the page containing the Search element.
  • Marking a domain as live? On the General tab, check the Domain is live checkbox to accept DNS changes and launch the site. See Set your site to Live for the full procedure.
