After receiving your migration confirmation email, use this checklist to verify the accuracy of your New Calendars setup. Key checks cover calendar names and folder organization, Calendar elements in Composer, and recurring and multi-day event dates.
đź’ˇQuick answers
- What should you check first after migration? Confirm all calendars are present and correctly named (Normal → Standard; Block calendars each become their own Standard calendar) and organized into the right folders.
- Verifying Calendar elements in Composer after migration? Open each page with a Calendar element and confirm settings and event display look correct; reconnect or reconfigure any elements that appear broken.
- What happens to Block calendars during migration? They are not supported in New Calendars; each block defined in a Block calendar becomes its own separate Standard calendar.
- Why should recurring event dates be confirmed after migration? Recurring events may be migrated as single events; verify that start and end dates are accurate in New Calendars.
- Where do you go if the migration results look incorrect? Contact Finalsite Support for quick resolution, or check the "Manage calendars and events in New Calendars module" article for steps on moving calendars between folders.
